Ice Breaker: What is your favorite roller coaster?

1. Vincent couldn’t get to the Texas Cyclone because he didn’t have directions. But when he found a map saying “You are here” everything changed! Discuss how this can be like finding your purpose in Christ and your local church.

2. You get to be part of a spiritual family! Please share a time your spiritual support system helped you through a difficult situation.

3. We say, “I am who God says I am.” and then believe the wrong things about ourselves. Tell someone in your group what you see that God has put in them.

4. Vincent mentioned that you would discover who you are in Christ but then chase after something contrary. If you’re comfortable sharing, discuss something the Holy Spirit is telling you to quit chasing so that you can fulfill His purpose for you.

5. You will be cared for and protected in a church family. Discuss a time you isolated yourself – how did it make you feel? Discuss a time you reached out to church family and its difference in how you viewed your situation.
