1. What is the big deal? Briefly describe how this series has changed your view of the Social Justice Lie.
2. Pastor Vincent read a quote from Martin Niemoller about being wheat or chaff, “It is now testing time for the Christian Church, and God is giving Satan a free hand, so he shakes us up to see what manner of men we are.” He also told the story of Daron Roberts – Convictions that would cost him are too high a price to lose man’s approval. Did either of these statements convict you? Share a time you remained silent or backed down on a controversial subject.
3. In the Social Justice Lie, truth, facts, and evidence don’t matter – only the narrative, the victim becomes the perpetrator, mob justice and shaming are used, and the institution backs the mob. Discuss how these parallel the crucifixion of Christ.
4. While members of the social justice movement believe they are “Woke.” How interesting is it that in Revelations 3:2, Jesus instructs the dying church to “Wake up! Strengthen what remains.” Discuss practical ways to be sure we are “woke” to God’s truth and following Jesus’ instructions.
5. We cannot conquer the promised land with a wilderness heart. Discuss how this series has given you the courage to stand on God’s truth while maintaining a Christ-like heart.
